Everyone Deserves Access to a Good Attorney

You shouldn't have to drive an hour — or settle for less — just because of where you live.

We believe that where you live should not determine the quality of legal counsel you receive. Whether you are in Murrysville, Indiana County, Somerset, or anywhere in Pennsylvania, you deserve an experienced attorney who charges a fair price and treats your matter with the attention it deserves. That is how we practice — and we do it without requiring you to come to our office.

The Problem We See

In parts of Western Pennsylvania — particularly in rural counties like Indiana, Somerset, Fayette, and Armstrong — there are very few attorneys practicing estate planning, probate, and real estate law. The attorneys who are there are often stretched thin, approaching retirement, or not taking new clients. Families in these communities face a difficult choice: drive an hour to Pittsburgh for counsel, hire someone who may not specialize in what they need, or do nothing and hope for the best.

We have seen what "doing nothing" looks like. Estates that go unadministered for years. Wills drafted from templates that do not account for Pennsylvania law. Powers of attorney that are outdated or unenforceable. Real estate closings handled without proper title examination. Business owners with no operating agreement and no succession plan.

These are not complicated problems to solve. They just require an attorney who is accessible, competent, and willing to charge a fair price.

How We Help — From Anywhere

Every service we offer can be delivered remotely. This is not a pandemic workaround that we kept — it is how we have practiced for years, and we have refined the process to be as seamless as an in-person engagement.

What "remote" actually means

  • Initial consultation by phone or video. We listen to your situation, explain your options, and give you an honest assessment — no different than if you were sitting in our conference room.
  • Documents drafted and reviewed electronically. We send drafts for your review, walk through every provision by phone or video, and answer your questions in real time.
  • E-signature for execution. Most documents can be signed electronically through our secure platform. For documents that require notarization, we coordinate with a mobile notary in your area or use remote online notarization where Pennsylvania law permits.
  • Court filings handled on your behalf. For probate matters, we file with the Register of Wills, obtain Short Certificates, publish estate notices, and coordinate with the county courthouse — you never need to set foot in the building.
  • Real estate closings. As licensed title agents through Chicago Title, Commonwealth, and First American, we can coordinate closings with mail-away packages or attend settlement at a location convenient to you.

Fair, Transparent Pricing

Access to legal counsel means nothing if the price is prohibitive. We discuss fees openly before any work begins. Most of our estate planning engagements are handled on a flat-fee basis — you know exactly what you are paying before we start. For probate and business matters, we provide detailed fee estimates and keep you informed throughout.

We do not bill for phone calls where you have a quick question about your existing plan. We do not charge for the initial consultation. And we do not pad invoices with unnecessary work. Our fees reflect the actual time and expertise your matter requires — nothing more.

Who We Serve This Way

Our remote clients include:

  • Families in rural counties who need estate planning or probate help but do not have a local attorney who handles those matters
  • Out-of-state executors who were named in a Pennsylvania will and need to administer an estate without traveling to the courthouse
  • Adult children who live out of state but need to help aging parents in Western PA with powers of attorney, Medicaid planning, or estate updates
  • Business owners in smaller communities who need entity formation, operating agreements, or succession planning
  • Homebuyers and sellers in counties where attorney-attended closings are not the norm but should be
  • Anyone whose schedule — work, health, caregiving — makes an in-person visit difficult

Same Attorneys, Same Quality

When you work with us remotely, you work with the same attorneys who handle our in-person engagements. You are not routed to a junior associate or a call center. Your estate plan is drafted by the same person who drafted plans for our Murrysville and Fox Chapel clients. Your probate matter is handled with the same attention to detail as the estate filed at the Greensburg courthouse.

The only difference is that we meet by phone instead of in person. Everything else — the quality, the responsiveness, the transparency — is identical.
